Anthony Keegan is described as being 5’ 10 in height, of medium build with short brown hair and brown eyes.

It's understood both men travelled together to the Cavan area in a silver Ford Focus car registration 04 D 46380 on Tuesday evening. They haven't been seen since.

A search operation has been taking place across county Cavan today and is continuing tonight.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who can assist in locating the men or the silver Ford Focus car to contact Ballymun Garda Station.

They are also asking farmers in the Ballyjamesduff and Bailieborough areas of Cavan to report any unusual activity when checking their livestock tonight.
