The search for a 6-year-old girl who went missing 34 years ago is continuing in Co. Donegal today.

Mary Boyle from Kincasslagh vanished without a trace while visiting her grandparents near Ballyshannon.

She went misssing on March 18th 1977 and would now be 40-years-old.

When last seen on that day she was wearing a lilac coloured hand-knitted cardigan, brown jeans and black wellington boots.

She is the longest missing person in the country.

The search for her resumed yesterday after information was received from a Dutch psychic hired by family friend and country singer Margo O’Donnell.

She has been speaking to Highland Radio.
