The editor of the Sunday Tribune has expressed her shock at the use of the paper’s image by the Irish Mail on Sunday.
In a statement Noirin Hegarty said she was appalled that another newspaper would plagiarise a front page look-a-like of the Tribune, with the naked ambition of gaining extra circulation.

A receiver was appointed to the Tribune last Tuesday.
Noirin Hegarty says she is appalled that The Irish Mail on Sunday would stoop this low.
