I an public servant on 55.500 euro.

Worried about my wife who was in receipt of Carers Allowance (Means tested) of 60 euro @ week.

Apart from the 4% cut, I have not seen any info on the bands.

Your salary will decrease to €52,087.50 which will result in a decrease in weekly take home pay of approximately €32. 

There have been no changes to the Income tax rates, bands and credits.

There have been reductions in carer’s benefit and carer’s allowance for individuals under 66.  Full carer’s allowance has been reduced from €220.50 to €212 per week for individuals under 66.  Full carer’s benefit has been reduced from €221.20 to €213.
