Transatlantic numbers down

Nov 6th, 2009, 9:48 am

Transatlantic shopping trips appear to be a thing of the past at Aer Lingus – according to new passenger numbers.

Figures for October show the airline suffered a 26% fall in long haul traffic compared to the same month last year.

Overall passenger numbers for the month were flat compared to 2008 figures as seat sales helped boost short haul traffic.
