Hollywood A-listers Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Penelope Cruz have attended the London premiere of new musical film “Nine”.

Dame Judi Dench and Daniel Day-Lewis also turned out in Leicester Square to promote the movie.

The movie is inspired by Federico Fellini’s 1963 classic 8½.

Director Rob Marshall says he’s delighted how many top stars wanted to be in his movie.

Kidman says it was a great experience.

“When you’re working with this calibre of actors and actresses it’s a joy” she said.

“And you learn – no matter where you are at in your career…I’m always wanting to learn” she added.
