Kite surfer killed in Donegal

A kite-surfer in his mid-20s has been killed in in Rossnowlagh, in Co. Donegal.

The accident happened at about half past two this afternoon when the young man was suddenly lifted by the kite from the water, and carried by a strong wind into the rocks.

It’s understood he was one of a group of students from Letterkenny IT and was from the Co. Cavan village of Milltown.
