A Dublin man who had over a thousand images and videos of children being raped and posing naked has received a 3 year suspended sentence.

Sam Wiltshire from Cedarbrook Walk, Ballyfermot pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to possession of child pornography at his home on December 12th, 2008.

The 31-year-old was caught when an investigation in Holland showed he was one of several Irish users of a child pornography website.
