The Minister for Foreign Affairs has said that no effort will be spared in securing the release of kidnapped Irish priest Father Michael Sinnott in the Philippines.
It follows the emergence of a video of Father Sinnot, in which he says his captors are demanding a two million dollar ransom.
Micháel Martin has confirmed he’s spoken the Sinnott family who are relieved to hear that there is further evidence that the 79 year old is alive.
Fears are growing for his health, as he has a heart condition and does not have access to all of his medicines.
