Hello all

This is my first blog post….exciting stuff.

I  have had the ever obliging Chris Donoghue baby me through the steps to get this far, now I am cold and alone on my PC, so it will truly be a miraculous event if this actually makes it to the page.

I usually post on Twitter and am now wondering if this device is an altogether better idea. The restriction on characters on Twitter, i.e., the whole point of the thing, does my head in. Any advice on whether this should be a choice is welcome.

Just to let you know, there is another hugely important interview on Moncrieff later today. Reporter Claire Sutton continues the story of Catherine, who was sexually abused by her stepfather and bore him five children. One of those children, Aoife, tells her story today. I think they are airing it at about 3pm. If you miss it, you will be able to listen online instantly thanks to the swanky new software.
