Bridge out for two weeks

Manchester City defender Wayne Bridge could be out for two weeks with a knee injury. He sustained the injury in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea after colliding with Blues defender Juliano Belletti.

‘Wayne has opened up his medial ligaments, it could be a couple of weeks for him but we hope it’s nothing more serious,’ City manager Mark Hughes told the club website.
