Flannery a slight doubt
Jerry Flannery has emerged as a slight doubt ahead of Ireland’s clash with Australia on Sunday. The Munster hooker was thought to have fully recovered from a torn calf muscle, but felt a slight strain in training yesterday. As a result, John Fogarty has been withdrawn from tonight’s A game against Tonga to provide extra cover, with former Munster hooker Andy Kyriacou called-up to the bench. Fogarty’s call-up to the senior squad means that his brother Denis will now start for the A’s tonight at Ravenhill, with Kyriacou on the bench.
