Ireland to learn play-off fate

The draw for the World Cup play-offs takes place in Zurich this afternoon, with Giovanni Trappatoni’s Ireland among the eight teams involved. They’ll be drawn against one of the top four seeds – France, Portugal, Greece or Russia. The draw takes place at 1 o’clock and can be heard live here on Newstalk.
