Racing – Tranquil Sea the big Irish hope at Cheltenham
It’s day two of the Open meeting at Cheltenham with the Paddy Power Handicap Chase the feature race at 2.35pm. The Edward O’Grady trained “Tranquil Sea” is the leading Irish runner in the race and will be ridden by jocky Andrew McNamara.
Elsewhere, – action here at home comes from Punchestown, which passed a precautionary morning inspection with the first-race due-off at 12.45pm. All eyes will be focused on the Philip Fenton trained “Dunguib” in the 1.50pm contest following his maiden hurdle win at Galway.
