It was a mixed day for Jermaine Defoe on his return to Fratton Park with Tottenham. The England striker was sent-off in the second-half after earlier scoring Tottenham’s second goal of the game against Portsmouth. Kevin Prince Boateng pulled one back for Pompy and Michael Brown was sent-off, but Spurs guided by Harry Redknapp managed a 2-1 victory.
