Drugs worth an estimated 400-thousand euro have been seized in County Carlow.

Gardai from the Organised Crime Unit searched a house near Leighlinbridge on Saturday afternoon.

They recovered 20 kilos of Cannabis Herb and eight kilos of what’s believed to be amphetamines.

A 21 year old man was arrested and was being held at Carlow Garda Station under drug trafficking legislation.
