Fifth in the world golfer Padraig Harrington is holding a massive auction for charity.

The Dublin-native is hoping to raise funds for the GOAL charity – as he sells off his putters, drivers and other equipment that helped him win championships.

He’s hoping it’ll raise thousands of euro for this good cause.

“At the end of the year I was trying to tidy up my golf stuff and it had been building up the last 12 years” he said.

“So I decided I needed to make some room and like everybody else I don’t like throwing things out”.

“You just couldn’t find somewhere to give this much equipment so I said ‘look, I’ll sell it’ and GOAL happened to be there on my mind at the time – so I said ‘Right I’ll sell it for GOAL” he added.
