Mass Attendance is on the rise according to a recent opinion poll conducted by RedC on behalf of The Iona Institute. This is first confirmation of anecdotal evidence that religious practice has been on the increase since the recession began. But could the two be connected and what positive effects does mass attendance have that sees an increase in the number of those attending?
