A special trust is being launched today in memory of murdered Limerick rugby player Shane Geoghegan.

The 28 year old was shot dead almost a year ago in a case of mistaken identity.

Earlier this year, a 23 year old Dublin man was charged with his murder.

A trust is being set up in Shane’s honour by Garryowen Football Club, to promote sport among local children.
