Two in custody over Limerick shooting

Two men are still being questioned in Limerick in connection with a shooting incident on the outskirts of the city this morning.

A 26-year-old man was treated in hospital after being shot in Ahane at around half past eleven.

Two men in their 20s and 30s were later arrested in the Castletroy area.

They’re being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
