A US family are waiting to hear what charges they’ll face after police confirmed last week’s balloon chase was a hoax.

The parents of six year old Falcon Heene reported that their son had been swept away in a home-made helium aircraft.

But he was actually hiding in his attic.

Now the couple are being accused of mounting a publicity stunt.
