Flights at Dublin Airport are due to resume this morning.
Operations were suspended again last night due to heavy snowfalls and ice on the runway however a spokesperson says they are back to a full service today.
Fresh snowfall has been reported across much of the east, northeast and midlands bringing further treacherous conditions for motorists.

In Dublin LUAS services are expected to run as normal after some disruption last night.
Irish Rail also says it is planning a full service with some minor delays.
However the Docklands Station in Dublin is closed and M3 services are running to and from Connolly.
Many Bus Eireann services had to finish early last night but the company says they will be doing their best to run as much of the timetable as possible today.
The situation will be monitored throughout the day.
It is a similar picture for Dublin Bus which had to suspend services at 8pm last night.

Met Eireann is advising us to expect another very cold and icy day ahead with further sleet and snow showers.
