Amnesty International is highlighting the disappearance of 419 children from state care.

According to a report being released by the human rights organisation today, the children went missing over an eight year period.

Amnesty International Ireland Executive Director Colm O’Gorman says the document also raises the issue of vulnerable children being placed in adult mental health units.
