100 new jobs are to be created by an Irish IT company over the next 3 years.
Version 1 is a consulting and outsourcing firm and is based in Dublin and Belfast.
It has just opened a new office in Cork.
The jobs will be added to each of the 3 offices.
The announcement comes on the back of the recent acquisition by Version 1 of PM Group’s IT services company PM Centrix.
Managing Director Justin Keatinge said “We have performed very strongly in 2010; projected turnover is €17.5 million and operating profit has risen by close to 50%”.
“We have a strong deals pipeline and over 20 open positions, as well as a number of graduate opportunities”.
“We expect this deal to benefit all our customers by strengthening our expertise in Microsoft technology, particularly SharePoint, and enhancing our ability to deliver our services to the Munster region through our new Cork office” he added.
Version 1 has been privately funded since its inception in 1996.
