The UNITE union in the UK has announced the dates of the British Airways cabin crew strike.
They’ll walk out for three days from next Saturday – the 20th of March – and again for four days from the 27th of March.
They’re taking action in a row over cost-cutting measures.
But union members are to be balloted on a new offer from BA – which could see the strikes avoided at the eleventh hour.
BA has trained staff from other areas of the company to fill-in as cabin crew during the strike and has said it will hire 23 fully-crewed planes from charter companies to help run flights from London’s Heathrow airport.
