Continental Airlines is to increase its services between Shannon and New York.

The carrier is to operate four additional services each week between Shannon Airport and Newark Airport – from the end of May until early September.

The extra transatlantic flights will depart on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
