O'Leary meets delegation over Dublin jobs

Feb 16th, 2010, 11:20 am

Michael O’Leary has met a cross party delegation of Dublin North TDs about how to secure 300 jobs Ryanair jobs here.

The Ryanair Chief will not deal with the Dublin Airport Authority directly, and has criticised the Tanaiste for not acting as an intermediary.

He is, however, due to meet Mary Coughlan to discuss the issue later today.

Fine Gael TD James Reilly says his constituents need the jobs on offer

“They’re incensed now at the thought that there is an opportunity for 300 jobs minimum – plus downstream jobs which arise from that – going a-begging and the Tanaiste…up to this morning refused to even talk to Michael O’Leary” he said.

“Thankfully she’s going to talk to him now, I do hope that it’s a positive outcome” he added.
