Cork twins return home after major operation

May 21st, 2010, 6:50 am

Cork twins Hassan and Hussein Benhaffaf, who were born conjoined, are due home in Cork today.

The pair were separated by a team of surgeons at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London last month.

Parents Angie and Azzedine said their prayers have been answered  and thanked the public for all their prayers and overwhelming love.

They thanked the surgeons and staff at the hospital in particular for giving their boys the gift of separate lives.
