The truth behind the tenure of Tony Blair as British Prime Minister is revealed in his memoirs which are published today.
Much of the book which is called ‘A Journey’ focuses on his relationship with Gordon Brown.
Blair says he knew his former chancellor would be a “disaster” as leader.
And he describes him as ‘maddening’ and having ‘zero emotional intelligence’.
Darren Murphy is former special advisor to Blair and says he could see the two patching things up.
“I’m sure some day you’ll find the 2 of them sitting reflecting over the difficulties that were caused by the lack of unity at the heart of the Labour Party over a pint – and resolving, as I hope the Labour Party will do” he added.
Mr. Blair will be in Dublin on Saturday to sign copies of the book.
Anti-war protesters say they plan to demonstrate outside the venue.
