MCD has settled its High Court battle with Prince over the cancellation of his Croke Park concert in 2008.

The music promoter sued the singer and his agents for €1.7 million in compensation.

The terms of the agreement are confidential but Denis Desmond has told reporters he’s not out of pocket and is willing to work with Prince again:

“I think he’s a great performer and I look forward in the future hopefully to some shows with him” he said.

“It’s unfortunate that he didn’t show up” he added.

When asked did he have any advice for the star, Desmond said “If I was him, I’d look at getting a good manager”.
