They may have been used to produce the soundtrack to the World Cup in South Africa but the vuvuzela has been banned from UEFA competitions.
That means the plastic horn will not be allowed into stadiums hosting Euro 2012 qualifiers or Champions League matches.
UEFA says all 53 nations under their governance will enforce the ban.
