Catherine Zeta-Jones admits she was so overcome at winning a top theatre award her brain did not connect to her mouth when she got on stage.
The Welsh star was honoured at the Tony Awards in New York for her part in the musical ‘A Little Night Music’.
Afterwards, she said she was so caught up in the moment she didn’t know what she was saying.
“Oh my Lord…how does Cinderella do it in this dress? Running down stairs in glass slippers?” she asked.
“But tonight I really do feel like Cinderella” she added.
