Gardai in Tralee are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road crash.

A 20-year-old man was killed when two cars collided on the Tralee to Ardfert Road just before 6 o’clock yesterday evening.

A youth was also taken to Tralee General Hospital where his injuries were described as serious.

The road was closed for a number of hours last night for a technical examination.
