Apr 26th, 2010, 10:48 pm

Stephen Hendry is out of the World Championships in Sheffield. The seven-time champion suffered a 13 frames to 5 defeat to Mark Selby, who’ll now face Ronnie O’Sullivan in the quarter-finals after O’Sullivan saw-off the challenge of Mark Williams. On the other side of the draw, Shaun Murphy came from behind to beat China’s Ding Junhui (pr: Jun-hwee) by 13 frames to 10. The 2005 champion will now face Ali Carter in the last-eight after Carter won a tense battle against Joe Perry.
