Jessica Simpson was scared to show her face in public after images of her in unflattering jeans were published around the world.

The 29-year-old singer’s weight was widely criticised when she appeared onstage in a pair of high-waisted jeans while performing at a chilli cook-out last year.

Jessica was horrified by the public scrutiny of her appearance and says it made her feel like she never wanted to leave her house again.
