Gardaí have released without charge a man they were questioning over the murder of Anthony Cannon in Dublin almost year ago.

The 26 year old was shot on St. Mary’s Avenue West in Ballyfermot in July last year.

Gardai say they have released without charge a man in his 30′s they were questioning over the killing.

A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
