France coach Marc Lievremont has opted to stick with Montpellier out-half Francois Trinh-Duc in his starting line-up to face Scotland on Sunday.
There is a surprise selection on the wing with Bayonne speedster Benjamin Fall preferred to Vincent Clere along with Clermont’s Aurelien Rougerie.
There is a return also for mercurial Toulouse full back Clement Poitrenaud, while Mathieu Bastareaud will get the opportunity to banish his personal issue of recent times as he partners Yannick Jauzion in the centre.
Morgan Parra will partner Trinh-Duc from scrum-half. Jean-Baptiste Elissalde will provide cover for both positions.
Elsewhere in the pack, Lionel Nallet and Pascal Pape are the second rows while Thomas Domingo, William Servat and Nicholas Mas will start in the front row with Sylvain Marconnet among the substitutes.
