One of the first Fine Gael TD’S to throw his weight behind this weeks leadership challenge against Enda Kenny, says he now fully supports the party leader.

Fergus O’Dowd, will accompany Enda Kenny on a trip North on Monday alongside  another of the rebel TD’s – Brian Hayes.

Enda Kenny will meet with the Norths main political parties – and he’s to hold talks with the new Northern secretary, Owen Patterson.

Fergus O’Dowd says he ‘s now giving his full support to Enda – and he would serve on the front bench if asked to do so.
