Road crashes at home and abroad leave four men dead.

A man who died in a car crash in Limerick earlier has been named by gardai.

Tim Lane, in his twenties and from Listowel, County Kerry, was killed after a two- car collision in Newcastlewest in Limerick at half eight this morning.

Elsewhere a man in his 40′s was killed in a crash in Co Kildare.

It happened on the Carberry to Edenderry Road just before seven o’clock this morning.

Meanwhile, two Irishmen in their twenties – Robbie Twomey from Kerry and Adrian Freeman from Mayo – have been killed in a road accident in Australia.

The pair were travelling together to a football match in Melbourne when the crash happened.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is liaising with the authorities in Australia on behalf of their families.
