Two men arrested by police in the North investigating the murder of a PSNI officer have been released without charge.

Constable Stephen Carroll was gunned down by dissident republicans last March as he answered a call in Craigavon, County Armagh.

The suspects, in their 20′s and 30′s, had been taken to Antrim police station for questioning yesterday and were released last night.
