Gardai are hoping to speak later today with 2 men who were shot on a Dublin street this morning.
The men suffered non-life threatening injuries when they were shot at on River Road in Cabra at 9:20am. .
It is not clear if there was more than one gunman involved.
Reporter with the Evening Herald Kevin Doyle says gardai are at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown waiting to speak to the injured men.
“One of the two men we understand was hit twice, the second man appears to have been hit once with a bullet” he said.
“They were both brought to Connolly Hospital where their condition is thought not to be life threatening”.
“The Gardai are unclear as to whether it’s a single gunman or whether there were more people at the scene at the time – but it’s understood they left the scene on foot” he added.
