President Obama has admitted his staff had the information to prevent a man trying to blow up a plane on Christmas Day.

In a White House statement he said his intelligence agencies had failed to act on Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

He’s now demanded immediate reforms to stop it happening again.
