It’s a year today since a receiver was appointed to Waterford Wedgewood, the parent company of the city’s famous crystal brand.

The crystal manufacturing plant is now slated for a sale, with an expected price tag of between €10 and €20 million.

It’s reported that at least one overseas buyer is interested in making a bid.
