Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident at a house in Tullamore, Co Offaly.

It’s believed two shots were fired into the living room window of a house in Chancery Lane just before midnight last night.

A 24 year old woman was wounded in the incident – however her injuries are not believed to be serious.
