A 54-year old man has been arrested in England for suspected war crimes in Croatia.

Mile Bosnic appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court last Friday, but police have only just released the details.

The former leader of the Serb Democratic Party is suspected of the mass murder, torture and imprisonment of Croatians during the Croatian war of Independence between 1991 and 1992.
