A British man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a woman who was stabbed at a homeless shelter in Dublin.

Clive Butcher, who has an address at 94 Ranelagh Road, denies the charge but this morning admitted to the manslaughter of 28 year old mother of one Rebecca Toban on December 17th 2008.

His plea has not been accepted by the DPP and the 7 day trial will go ahead at the Central Criminal Court tomorrow.
