The Lunchtime show on Newstalk has obtained documents which show that as far back as July 2009, Ryanair agreed to restrictions on the use of hangar 6.

A letter from Ryanair, addressed to the IDA Chief Executive Barry O’ Leary, shows that the low frills airline agreed to confining the use of the hanger to airport maintenance.

This contradicts some reports that Ryanair want to develop hangar 6 as a terminal into the future.
