A massive haul of black market cigarettes has been seized at Dublin Port.
It is believed the goods are worth almost €4 million.
Customs officers uncovered the huge stash of 9 million cigarettes in a container marked ‘disposable cups’ which had come on a ship from China.
If sold on the black market it would have amounted to a potential loss of €3 million to the public purse in taxes.
