An investigation’s underway following the discovery of an explosive device in Dublin.

Army bomb disposal experts were called to the scene at a flat complex on Clanbrassil Street at 4:20am this morning.

The device was examined at the scene and later deemed viable.

It will be destroyed later today, after which, the remains will be handed over to gardaí for a full investigation.
