Gardai have arrested four people in connection with the murder of Wayne Doherty in West Dublin last year.
The 32 year old father of two died after being shot outside his parent’s house in Hartstown last July.
Wayne Doherty was chatting outside his parent’s house on Oakview Way in Hartstown on July 4th 2009 when two cars pulled up.
As he approached one of them, the gunman opened fire and he was shot in the side.
Gardai believe the fatal shooting was linked to a row at a christening party between a family friend and another man earlier in the day.
As part of the investigation into his murder, gardai have now arrested four people.
A woman in her 40′s is being held at Lucan Garda Station, while two teenagers, believed to her son’s, are being questioned at Cabra and Ballyfermot Garda Stations.
Another man in his 20′s is being questioned at Finglas Garda Station.
They’re all being held under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can be questioned for up to three days.
